The Coping with And Responding to Emotions (CARE) and Stopping Stress in School (SSS) programs are modular cognitive behavioral interventions specifically designed for use by schools and implemented by school personnel. Designed to be used in a tiered model of prevention (e.g., MTSS), the CARE program is a tier 2 transdiagnostic intervention program focusing on anxiety, depression, and conduct related disorders. SSS is designed to be used as a tier 3 intervention with individualized programs for anxiety, depression, and anger management. Currently the programs are designed to be used in elementary grades (3-6) with developing research for middle and upper grades.
